Final blog post!

Final Summary

Having completed and checked all my pre-production documentation, Trailer Review and my link to the blog has been uploaded to Moodle for marking. I have carried out an evaluation and review all my work. I have also received feedback from my audience and tutor. My overall summary of my production, is that I am very happy with the standard of my work!

There will be no more posts. This blog has come to an end. Thank you!

Editing W4

In today's lesson I have been faced with some technical difficulties with my Mac. But before this happened I completed the following:

• I repolished the logo at the top of my footage
• I cut in some other clips from my second camera
• And went through chroma keying

Next week I will:

• Hopefully be able to use my Mac!
• Change the design of my BiG MATCH logo
• Continue with my timeline and chroma keying

Today I set myself 3 goals: Create my Final Cut Express Project, rough edit of my game trailer and to insert the Dreamgate - Now We Are Free (Gladiator) music. I have achieved all 3! In doing so I had to import my video clips, music files and YouTube video and then organise them into bins. I then started my rough edit by dragging my clips onto my timeline. Next time I edit I will continue with my rough edit before adding any effects.

Introduction

We are currently doing our production unit and have been set the task of creating a 2 minute film or game trailer. I am going to create my own version of the FIFA 13 Official Trailer by EA Sports. My game will be called "BiG Match". The trailer will include my own filming footage and a short clip of gameplay featuring "El Classico" - FC Barcelona v Real Madrid. It will finish with a logo I will design. We completed the treatment form today!
